Only 17 more to go! I waited no more than 15 minutes after the train pulled away to walk up to the Club Car. They had Canadian Bacon on. And why, I do not know. I could count the number of Americans <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Canadians on the train with one finger. Who was going to get the stereotypical jokes? Well, I did. Anyhow, I soon fell in with a group of half drunk Aussies: Paula from Townsville, Peter, and I forget the rest. We drank and were quite messy until they closed the car. Now we\u2019re all passing out.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_146\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-146\" class=\"size-full wp-image-146\" src=\"https:\/\/KevinCroll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Candy-FanTales.jpg\" alt=\"Fan Tales\" width=\"240\" height=\"159\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-146\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fan Tales<\/p><\/div>\n<p>They\u2019ve got this candy over here called Fan Tales. It\u2019s like a Milk Dud, but individually wrapped. On the wrapper is a kind of \u201cWho am I?\u201d story about a famous celebrity. Pretty neat.<\/p>\n<p>So anyhow, I\u2019ve made yet another group of temporary friends. We all had a good time, drank plenty of cans of XXXX Gold \u2026 blah! They\u2019re all getting off before morning, so I\u2019ve got yet another lonesome day tomorrow. I just hope these brats in front of me get off early, too.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, this train is old &amp; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">slow<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. No accommodations, not even like the XPT from Sydney. Oh, well.
