Today was fairly lazy, I suppose. \u00a0Dropped some emails, went to the beach\u2026. \u00a0that\u2019s it. \u00a0The beach was nice, but cold! \u00a0I made sure I took a swim in the Pacific as soon as I could. \u00a0And I did. \u00a0Splashed around for a time, saw a tern, got out to bird. \u00a0Birded most of my time there. \u00a0Added a few, including a Rainbow Lorikeet<\/a>. \u00a0Beautiful bird. <\/span>\u00a0Watched terns and boobies (both kinds) diving for food. \u00a0There was a <\/span>Brahminy Kite<\/span><\/a> Hanging around most of the day,<\/span><\/p>\n

harassing the birds. <\/span>\u00a0 Didn\u2019t get too much sun because of the wind, constant wind kept me covered up. \u00a0And now I\u2019m back. \u00a0I\u2019ve got transpo. to Mt Warning and near Hervey Bay reserved. \u00a0I\u2019ll have to spend a night in Brisbane, though.<\/span><\/p>\n

Byron Bay Ambulance<\/p><\/div>\n

Saw an ambulance today. \u00a0A special one. \u00a0It was a land Rover with winch and snorkel. \u00a0Should have snapped a picture. \u00a0Maybe tomorrow. \u00a0As a matter of fact, I\u2019ve seen a lot of 4 wheel drives, many with snorkels. \u00a0Toyota trucks, Land Rovers, Range Rovers\u2026 pretty cool. \u00a0Some, though, appear to be strictly for appearances. \u00a0Well, I could use a shower, a bite to eat, and a nap. \u00a0I think I\u2019ll try for all three but be happy with two.<\/p>\n
